Treatment of Tennis Elbow And Dislocated Elbow

Tennis Elbow is a recurring pain on the outside of the upper forearm just below the bend of the elbow. Occasionally, the pain radiates down the arm toward the wrist. Lifting, bending the arm or grasping even light objects such as a coffee cup will cause discomfort, and there is difficulty in extending the forearm fully.

Golfer’s Elbow is similar to tennis elbow but the pain is felt on the inside of the elbow, on or around the joint's bony prominence.

Elbow dislocations are nearly always results of falls or blows. There is an immediate intense pain, the elbow will swell, and will not bend. If the nerves that run along the elbow are also injured, there may be loss of feeling in the arm or hand.

Persistent pain in the elbow should be examined by a doctor. Treatment of a painful elbow can include medication, injections, physiotherapy or surgery.
