ABOUT SSOSC

Singapore Sports Orthopaedic Surgery Centre (SSOSC) is a subsidiary of the Singapore Medical Group Ltd. SSOSC manages and treats orthopaedic injuries and fractures, as well as sports orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries. Knee injuries, including meniscus, cartilage and ligament tears, shoulder tears and impingements, elbow injuries and recurrent ankle sprains, are seen at SSOSC. The Centre caters to not only athletes, but also individuals from all backgrounds with musculoskeletal problems and general fractures.

Other knee consultations that the Centre undertakes include collateral ligament injuries, complex multi-knee ligamentous injuries, patella/knee cap dislocations and knee arthritis.

SSOSC also offers consultations on the following conditions:

• Shoulder - shoulder dislocations, SLAP tears, rotator cuff tears, shoulder impingement, acromioclavicular joint arthritis, biceps tendon pathology, shoulder fractures
• Elbow - tennis elbow, dislocated elbow
• Ankle - recurrent ankle sprains
• Spine
• Hip replacement
• General sports fractures and injuries

With consideration to the convenience of patients, SSOSC also has access to physiotherapy services and podiatry services within the same premises, facilitating a seamless process of treatment for the patient.
